Outtakes from Bill the Fishing Guy

I have run across this video in the past and it makes me laugh every time I see it. Laughing I could swear he does this stuff on purpose!  Bloopers from Bill the Fishing Guy.

Dems want to make government our god

I like Sharron Angle.  If I were a Nevadan, I'd cast my vote in her direction.  From My Way News:

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nevada U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle sees her campaign as a battle to stop Democrats in Washington who want to expand entitlement programs and "make government our God."

In an interview with a Christian radio network, Angle describes her effort to oust Majority Leader Harry Reid as a religious calling in "a war of ideology, it's a war of thoughts and of faith."

Reid, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have pushed "entitlement programs built to make government our God," says Angle, who has called for privatizing Social Security and Medicare for younger workers.

"What's happening in this country is a violation of the First Commandment," Angle told Trunews in the April interview, which is posted on the network's website.

"We have become a country entrenched in idolatry, and that idolatry is the dependency upon our government. We're supposed to depend upon God for our protection and our provision and for our daily bread, not for our government," she said.

Reid's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Angle's statements are "frightening." Since Angle won the GOP nomination in June, Reid's campaign has depicted the tea party favorite in TV ads as an extremist who would gut federal programs and turn her back on those in need.

Illegal immigrants may get "relief" without Congressional action or citizen consent

If at first you don't succeed, try the back door.  From Judicial Watch:

The Obama Administration has a secret backup plan to grant illegal immigrants amnesty in case Congress doesn’t pass legislation to do it, according to an internal Homeland Security document recently exposed by a conservative news magazine.

The backdoor amnesty plan, devised by high-ranking officials at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), aims to enact “meaningful immigration reform absent legislative action.” In other words, without the consent of the American people through a vote in Congress, as the news magazine that broke the story points out.

The plan calls for “relief” to “reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without proper authorization” in the absence of congressional action on immigration reform. The agency “can extend benefits and/or protections” to many illegal aliens if federal lawmakers fail to act, according to the 11-page memo titled Administrative Alternatives to Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

This includes “deferred action” delaying deportation indefinitely, granting green cards, allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S. indefinitely while they seek legal status (known as “parole in place”) and expanding the definition of “extreme hardships” so any illegal alien could meet the criteria and remain in the country.

The covert amnesty project, created by political appointees at USCIS, seems to ignore a crucial fact: The United States Constitution specifically grants Congress the authority to decide federal immigration law. Currently, the measure enacted by Congress prohibits registration of illegal entrants who are present in the country. A portion of the law even addresses classes of aliens ineligible for visas or admission by stating that an alien present in the United States without being admitted or paroled, or who arrives in the United States at any time or place other than as designated by the Attorney General is inadmissible.

Protests in Phoenix get confusing: Immigration? Communism? Revolucion?

A support rally for the Arizona law enforcing illegal immigration laws was held on July 31, 2010.  A protest by dissenters was also held at the same location.  But I'm confused?  Were they against SB1070?  Were they against the Tea Party?  Capitalism?  The United States?  How about all of the above Confused

More at Moonbattery:

On one side you have decent, normal Americans who want to defend their country from invasion and uphold the rule of law. On the other, you have repulsive collectivist lowlifes who travel hundreds of miles to defile our sacred symbols and prevent patriots from speaking. Choose one side or the other; there is no in-between.

Pilot pranks a passenger in his small plane

I feel for this passenger.  I don't know if I would have had the same reaction, but I'd probably have freaked out too.  The pilot pretends to pass out and starts to go into a dive as the guy behind him screams his head off.  Heh heh.  Wrong, very wrong.

Dennis Prager talks about the single greatest threat to the future of America

The answer he gives the moderator might surprise you.  The greatest threat in his opinion is that we have not passed on what it means to be American to this generation.  This is about nine minutes long and well worth watching.  Watch it.  Do it now.

Congressman Pete Stark: "The federal government can do most anything in this country"

I've seen an interview with this guy in the past, in which he was labeled Pete Stark-raving mad.  At a town hall meeting, an attendee asks a two part question: 1) how does he explain the conflict between the new healthcare law and the 13th Amendment and 2) if the government can do this, what can't they do?  Mr. Stark offers an interesting explanation of the latter.
