This is one of the better openers for SNL that I've seen in a while. I stopped watching it ages ago, but every once in a while I'll run across a bit posted by someone else. The SNL writers seem to have gotten over their shyness with the O-ministration.

Got this from a friend.  It made me chuckle.  Two different versions, two different morals!

HISTORICAL VERSION:

The ant  works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building  his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and  plays the summer away.

Come  winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The  grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the  cold.

MORAL OF THIS STORY: Be responsible for  yourself.

MODERN (Progressive) VERSION:

In this test, subjects are asked to try to identify the difference between two different brands of lip balm.

This is hilarious... finally something on public television that I can recommend to everyone.  Big Bird tells it like it is.
